Welcome to Heart of Hope Ministry. A place
where you can relax, pull up a chair, and reach out to those in need by using your crafting skills. If you know someone in
crisis, who needs a warm reminder of Christ's love for us, please let us know.
As I began my walk with Christ, I felt
a calling in my heart to reach out to those who needed a hug, needed to feel loved, needed to feel the Lord. At the same time,
I knew that my primary ministry, where I belonged, was at home with my family. Since I work outside the home at this
time, I needed something that would not take me away from them.
After many prayers, and doors opening, I found
Head Huggers. A national group of people who sew, knit and crochet chemo caps. This I could do. It didn't require a lot of
money, and I could do it while here for my family. Perfect.
That has recently grown into making prayer/comfort shawls
for women in crisis, whether it be facing illness, death of a loved one, caring for a sick loved one, or any other major event
in their life. In addition to that, Project Linus has become near and dear to my heart because of my deep love and compassion
for children in need.
This site is dedicated to this work in the Lord, and the blessing He has given me in being
able to do this.
